REVIEW: I booked all the hotels for a trip to Italy with my boyfriend. This hotel was very clean and spacious at a good price. We arrived around 10am in the morning from the airport, they greeted us and offered us coffee while we waited about 15 minutes for our room to be ready. I was very happy that we were able to check in to our room early. The staff was very nice and helpful. Also, we enjoyed the breakfast with a coffee machine you can choose a variety of coffees and croissants, toast, cereal, etc. My boyfriend really enjoyed the hotel.

The only downside is that we stayed on the 5th floor which was a hike with our suitcases. If you climb the dome at St. Peter's the last thing you want to see when you get to your hotel is more stairs. LOL. I requested room 506 based on a recommendation from a book, which I can no longer remember the title.

The train station is nearby, which is great if you take the train from the airport. Also, both metro lines connect at the train station so this hotel is very accessible to anywhere in the city.

Pleasant hotel, located 5 mins walk from the SM Firenze station. Large double room with patio doors opening onto a small terrace. Terrace was overlooking a busy street which was great for people watching, but the shutters and double glazed doors kept out the noise when required. Mini-bar and roomy clean bathroom.

Small breakfast area which could be a bit chaotic, but good variety of breakfast - cereals, fruit juices, yoghurt, cheeses, hams, bread rolls and pastries.

PC available with free internet access. Luggage storage following checkout. Pleasant staff.

Great pattiserie underneath, few minutes stroll to some great trattorias and the river Arno.

The hotel is an amalgamation of two hotels, we stayed in the former 'Curtone' section.

Nice location, not in the main tourist centre but within a few mins walk.

This TripAdvisor Member:
Liked: nice location, not central but few mins stroll to main areas.
Disliked: breakfast area was small so got a bit busy.
Tips/Secrets: buy a picnic from the patisserie downstairs, stroll to the River Arno and watch the otters swim.

It is a very attractive hotel, with a comfortable atmosphere and good decor throughout. The hotel is situated in a fairly good location, and so close to the main tourist areas. The lobby area is brightly lit and has been furnished with a marble tiled floor. The lounge area is similarly decorated, with small arrangements of padded regency style chairs. The walls have prints and paintings adorning them.

Traditional Venetian architecture in keeping with the surroundings. There is no restaurant in this hotel, but there is a good size breakfast room, elegantly decorated in 18th century Venetian style, with beautiful chandeliers and mirrors made of glass by the famous Murano masters.

The bedrooms are pleasantly furnished in traditional Venetian style using pastel colour schemes. They vary in size and are in very good conditions, since recently renovated. The bathrooms as well have been re-styled and are in very good form.Rooms are equipped with sat TV, minibar, safe, telephone, hairdryer and air conditioning.

A rich continental buffet breakfast will be served in two halls, at the ground floor, furnished in the 18th c. Venetian style and painted in paste rose.

Located in quiet area. A few minutes walk to St. Mark's Square. Receptionists were friendly and spoke English. Free continental breakfast every morning. Staff was friendly.
